What is personal information
Personal information is information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who can reasonably be identified. For us that usually means details like your name, delivery and billing address, email address and phone number.
What we collect
Information you give us directly when you place an order, contact us or sign up to our emails, such as your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number, order details, and anything you include in a message to us.
Payment information. When you pay, your card or wallet details are collected and processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our systems.
Information we collect automatically when you use the website, such as your device and browser type, IP address, the pages you view and how you interact with the site. We collect this using cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies, analytics and advertising" below).
Information from third parties, such as our website, payment, analytics, advertising and delivery providers, who may collect or provide information to help us run the business.
We do not seek to collect sensitive information (as defined in the Privacy Act, such as health or racial information), and you should not send it to us.
Why we collect and use your information

Our website and store platform, Squarespace, which hosts the website and processes orders;
Our payment provider, Stripe, to process payments;
Analytics and advertising providers, including Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads), Meta (the Meta/Facebook advertising pixel) and Microsoft (Microsoft Clarity), to help us understand website use and to advertise;
Our email provider, Squarespace Email Campaigns, to send our marketing and service emails;
Delivery and logistics providers, including Australia Post, to ship your order;
Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where reasonably required;
Government agencies or law enforcement, where required or authorised by law; and
A buyer or successor, if we sell or restructure the business, in which case your information may be transferred subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
Overseas disclosure
Some of the providers above are based overseas or store data overseas, mainly in the United States (for example Squarespace, Google, Meta, Microsoft and Stripe). This means your personal information may be disclosed to, and stored in, countries outside Australia. Where we disclose information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and support our advertising. The tools we currently use include:

ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date (APP 13); and
opt out of marketing at any time, using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. If you opt out, we may still send you service messages about your orders.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity first. We do not charge to access your information, though we may charge a reasonable fee for providing a copy.
Data breaches
If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the OAIC as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme in Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988.

Our website may link to other websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Children's privacy
Our website and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has given us their information, please contact us and we will delete it.
